22 Year Old Caught With Small Amount Of Weed

(TOWNSHIP OF GEORGIAN BLUFFS, ON) - On May 12, 2018, at approximately 9:10 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a vehicle for speeding on Grey Road 1, east of Linton Road, in the Township of Georgian Bluffs.

When questioned about the odour of marihuana emanating from inside the vehicle, the driver admitted to possessing a small quantity. The drugs were turned over and seized by the officer.

22-year old Ryan Steven SUMMERS of the Township of Chatsworth was charged with possession of a controlled substance under 30 grams and possession of a controlled substance under 3 grams (Cannabis Resin) under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA). He was also issued a Part III Summons for speeding under the Highway Traffic Ac (HTA).

He is scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on June 21, 2018.
