(SARNIA, ON) - On May 18, 2018 at 2:45 a.m. members of the Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a complaint from a concerned motorist with regard to a driver who was displaying signs of impairment while travelling westbound on the 402 Highway near Sarnia, Ontario.



A short time later the OPP located the offending vehicle, observing it exit onto Indian Road, Sarnia. The driver was arrested for impaired driving requiring him to provide a sample of his breath.

As a result of the investigation, John Frank MAHOVLICH, 47 years-of- age of Tecumseh, Ontario was charged with allegedly committing the offences of impaired operation of a motor vehicle, over 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 milliliters of his blood and operate motor vehicle with open container of liquor. He is to appear at the Sarnia Court House on June 11, 2018.
