Another Methamphetamine Bust

(BONFIELD TWP, ON) - On June 8, 2018, officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) North East Region Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), with the assistance of the North East Region Emergency Response Team (ERT), North Bay OPP Detachment and North East Region Canine Unit, executed a search warrant on a residence in Bonfield Township, Ontario.

During a search of the residence, officers located suspected cocaine with a street value of over $300, a small quantity of suspected marihuana, a small quantity of suspected methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, a large amount of Canadian currency totalling approximately $5000, a crossbow and a stolen snowmobile.

Police arrested and charged three people as a result of the warrant.

Dylan BOULERICE, age 23, of Cobalt, Ontario, is charged with the following:

Possession of a Schedule I substance - methamphetamine contrary to section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA); and
Possession of a Schedule II substance - cannabis marihuana contrary to section 4(1) of the CDSA.


He was released on a Promise to Appear to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in North Bay, Ontario, on July 10, 2018.



Renee JOBIN, age 30, of Bonfield, Ontario, is charged with the following:

Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - cocaine contrary to section 5(2) of the CDSA;
Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000 contrary to section 354(1)(a) of the Criminal Code (CC);
Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000 contrary to section 354(1)(a) of the CC; and
Possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order contrary to section 117.01(1) of the CC.


She was released on a Promise to Appear to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in North Bay, Ontario, on July 10, 2018.



Cory LAMARRE, age 29, of Mattawa, Ontario, is charged with the following:

Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - cocaine contrary to section 5(2) of the CDSA;
Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000 contrary to sec 354(1)(a) of the CC;
Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000 contrary to section 354(1)(a) of the CC; and
Possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order contrary to section 117.01(1) of the CC.


He is being held in custody awaiting a hearing for a breach of a conditional sentence order to be held at the Ontario Court of Justice in North Bay, Ontario. The accused was scheduled to have a court appearance today.
