Body Recovered From Goshawk Lake

(KENORA, ON) - On Friday July 6, 2018 the Ontario Provincial Police(OPP) in Kenora were dispatched to a report of a man that had entered into the water and did not surface at Goshawk lake landing in Whitedog First Nation Territory.

Members of the OPP Marine and Trails Unit, OPP Crime Unit, Treaty Three Police Service and Kenora Ambulance all attended to search for the Male.

The male was located and transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The man has been identified as Desmond BOYD, 27 of Whitedog First Nation Territory.
