More Impaired Drivers Charged

(LEEDS, ON.) - Officers of the Leeds County Detachments of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are continuing investigations into incidents involving impaired drivers.
On July 11, 2018 at about 6:45 AM O.P.P officers were called to the parking lot at Shorelines Casino in Leeds and the Thousand Islands Township. After an investigation 33 year old Sahil ARORA of Brampton was charged with Impaired Driving related charges as well as Failing to Comply with a Probation Order. He is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, Provincial Division in Brockville on August 3, 2018 to answer to his charges.
On July 12, 2018 at about 12:15 AM O.P.P officers were called to a single vehicle collision on Briton-Houghton Bay Road in Rideau Lakes Township. A passenger in the vehicle was transported to hospital in Smiths Falls with non-life threatening injuries. After further investigation 35 year old Donald ANDERSON of Rideau Lakes Township was charged with Impaired Driving Causing Bodily Harm and Driving with More Than 80 Mgs of Alcohol in his Blood Causing Bodily Harm. He is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, Provincial Division in Brockville on August 3, 2018 to answer to his charges.
Both drivers found their vehicles towed and impounded.
