23 Year Old Has Vehicle Impounded For Speeding

(TOWNSHIP OF CHATSWORTH, ON) - On July 8, 2018 at approximately 11:54 p.m. Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a passenger vehicle that was travelling at a high rate of speed on Highway 10 near Thistlewood Road in the Township of Chatsworth.

The 23-year old driver from Etobicoke was issued a Part III Summons for stunt driving - driving a motor vehicle at a rate of speed that is 50 km/hr or more over the speed limit contrary to the Highway Traffic Act (HTA).

He was given a 7-day driver's licence suspension and the vehicle was impounded for 7 days.

He is scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on August 13, 2018.
