Fatal Rollover Collision - Name Of Deceased Released

(ST. CLAIR TWP, ON) - On July 17, 2018 at approximately 11:35 a.m., members of the Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended Kimball Road north of LaSalle Line, St. Clair Township to investigate a single motor vehicle collision.
Upon speaking with witnesses and through scene examination; it appears that a passenger vehicle left the travelled portion of north bound Kimball Road, entered a ditch, rolled several times and struck a tree. Members of the Lambton OPP and OPP West Region Technical Traffic Collision Investigators attended the scene to investigate. A portion of Kimball Road was closed during the investigation but, is now open. The investigation is ongoing.
The driver of the vehicle, David MEEKER, 62-years-of-age of the City of Sarnia was transported to Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. A post mortem is scheduled for today. The OPP are actively seeking witnesses in relation to this collision. If anyone has knowledge of this incident they are asked to call the OPP at 519-882-1011.
