(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) - The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County Detachment has charged a 23-year-old female with impaired driving following a traffic complaint investigation at a Haldimand Road 9, Hagersville, Haldimand County, Ontario address.
On Friday August 10, 2018 at 6:19 p.m., OPP responded to Haldimand Road 9 where a concerned citizen reported a traffic complaint.
OPP located the vehicle and female driver on Haldimand Road 9 where they investigated.
While speaking with the female driver, signs of impairment were detected and she was subsequently arrested.
Further investigation determined the female was over two and a half times above the legal limit.
OPP has charged 23-year-old Katie MOLNAR of Stoney Creek, Ontario with:
Impaired operation of a motor vehicle
Driving a motor vehicle with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in blood
Her driver's licence was automatically suspended for 90 days and the vehicle was impounded.
She is to appear in Provincial Court Cayuga at a later date to answer to the charges.
