(TEMISKAMING, ON) - On August 12, 2018 at approximately 11:15 A.m., members of the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a call for a motor vehicle collision on Highway 11, south of Highway 573, in Pacaud Township, Ontario. The vehicle was located in the ditch, on Rogers Road in Pacaud Township, Ontario. The male driver was located a short time later. Further investigation revealed that the male driver did not have a valid driver's licence.
Paul DENOMME, 26-years-old, of Marter Township, Ontario is arrested and charged with the following:
Take motor vehicle without consent, contrary to section 335(1) of the Criminal Code (C.C.),
Driving while under suspension, contrary to section 53(1.1) of the Highway Traffic Act (H.T.A.), and
Fail to report accident, contrary to section 199(1) of the H.T.A.
The vehicle was towed from the scene. The accused was released by way of Promise to Appear (PTA). He is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on September 11, 2018, in Haileybury, Ontario.
