Hwy 69 Collision Results In Charges

(WALLBRIDGE TOWNSHIP, ON) - On September 11, 2018 at shortly before 4:30 p.m., a member of the West Parry Sound Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a motor vehicle collision (MVC) involving two motor vehicles on Highway 69 at Harris Lake Road in Wallbridge Township, Ontario.

Investigation determined that the north bound motor vehicle pulling a trailer was turning into the Harris Lake picnic area when a north bound vehicle attempted to pass multiple vehicles. The vehicle attempting to pass collided with the front of the travel trailer.

Janusz ZEIBA, a 63 year-old male from Mississauga, Ontario was issued a Provincial Offences Notice for Careless driving, contrary to section 130(1) of the Highway Traffic Act (HTA).
