Car Skips Curb And Knocks Out Utilities

(TOWNSHIP OF CENTRE WELLINGTON, ON) - On September 26, 2018 at approximately 8:30 a.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single vehicle collision on Black Street, Fergus. Initial reports indicated a vehicle had struck a utility box and that power was knocked out in the area.

OPP as well Centre Wellington Fire Rescue and Guelph-Wellington Paramedics attended. No one was injured however local utilities had been temporarily affected.

23-year-old Matthew Neil Burton WHITE of Fergus has been charged with Careless Driving and Suspended Driving. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Provincial Court on November 21, 2018.
