19 Year Old Caught Going 50 Over Speed Limit - Vehicle Impounded

(BROCKTON, ON) - On October 2, 2018 the South Bruce Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was conducting speed enforcement on 9 Highway in the Municipality of Brockton when a vehicle was observed travelling at a high rate of speed.

The officer confirmed his visual observations with a RADAR device and was able to obtain a speed measurement of the racing vehicle at a speed in excess of 50km/h over the posted 80 km/h zone.

The driver Logan DROEFKE, age 19 of Brockton has been charged with "Drive a Motor Vehicle -Perform a Stunt (Speeding in Excess of 50 km/h)" resulting in a seven day driver's license suspension and a seven day vehicle impoundment.
