19 Year Old Drugged Driver Ditches Vehicle

(TOWNSHIP OF GUELPH/ERAMOSA, ON) - On Tuesday November 20, 2018 at approximately 9:00 p.m. the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a single vehicle collision on Highway 6, north of Guelph. It was reported that a white sedan had entered the ditch and the two occupants had suffered minor injuries.
Paramedic services attended and ensured the occupants did not require hospital care. While speaking with the female driver, investigators formed the opinion that she was under the influence of a drug. She was arrested and transported to a local OPP Detachment for testing.
19-year-old Taylor Lee Dietrich of Fergus has been charged with Drug Impaired Driving and Driving with Cannabis Readily Available. She is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on December 18, 2018.
