Fatal Collision Update - Names Of Deceased Released

(WEST GREY, ON) - On January 9, 2019 at approximately 5:26 p.m. Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a fatal traffic collision involving two motor vehicles on Highway 6, north of Rocky Saugeen Road in the Municipality of West Grey.
A (red) car was southbound on Highway 6 when there was a collision with a northbound (blue) sport utility vehicle (SUV). The cause of the collision is currently being investigated by OPP Technical Collision Investigators (TCI).
The occupants of the car succumb to their injuries following the collision. They have been identified as 46-year-old male, Duane DRINKLE of Owen Sound and 31-year-old female, Lydia WILSON of Owen Sound. The driver of the SUV was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
North and Southbound lanes of Highway 6 were reopened, at approximately 11:00 p.m., to regular traffic.
