31 Year Old Suspended Driver Charged

(WEST PERTH, ON) - Shortly after 8:30 p.m. on January 5, 2019, a member of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Perth County Detachment observed a motor vehicle travelling on Perth Line 34 in the Municipality of West Perth. The vehicle was determined to be travelling significantly above the posted speed limit and was stopped by police.
Christopher FRANCIS-REYES, 31-years-old, of Brampton was charged with speeding and driving while suspended. His driver's licence was seized and a notice of driving suspension was issued. The vehicle was driven from the scene by a properly licenced driver.
The driver is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Stratford on a later date to speak to the charge.
