41 Year Old From Minto Facing Drunk Driving Charge

(NORTH PERTH, ON) - On January 14, 2019 at 11:30 p.m., members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Perth County detachment were called by a concerned citizen about a possible impaired driver with a car in the ditch in the Municipality of North Perth.
OPP officers responded quickly and the driver was located. Officers determined that his ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired. He was arrested and transported to the Listowel OPP detachment for further testing.
Paul MACLINDEN, 41-years-old, of the Township of Minto was arrested and charged with;
Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
He is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Stratford on January 28, 2019.
If you suspect someone is driving while their ability to operate a motor vehicle is impaired, either by drug or alcohol, call police at 911 to report it.
