Life Threatening Injuries In Collisoin

(SOUTHWEST MIDDLESEX, ON) - On February 10, 2019, at approximately 8:15 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Dundonald Road, between Century Drive and Falconbridge Drive in Southwest Middlesex.

The investigation, thus far has revealed that the vehicle was travelling on Dundonald Road and struck the rail safety barrier system, which was not activated. No train was at the crossing at the time of the collision.

The lone occupant and driver of the motor vehicle was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver's condition remains critical.

The OPP's Technical Collision Investigators (TCI) are at the scene conducting the investigation. Dundonald Road between Century Drive and Falconbridge Drive in Southwest Middlesex is closed to traffic to allow for the continuing investigation.
