(MUNICIPALITY OF MEAFORD, ON) - Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) suggest that if you don't want your vehicle to be stolen then pocket the car keys and lock the vehicle.
On February 9, 2019, Grey County OPP received a report of a stolen vehicle. The vehicle, a 2008 Nissan Versa, grey in colour, with Ontario licence plates BSJL 361, was parked on William Street in the Municipality of Meaford. The vehicle, which was left unlocked with the keys inside, was stolen sometime between 2:15 p.m. and 3:15 p.m.
Motor vehicle thefts are ongoing. This type of crime isn't new but it can often be prevented. Crime prevention starts with you.
