(ADELAIDE METCALFE, ON) - On March 4, 2019, at approximately 10:30 a.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a break and enter at a private residence located on the 1000 block of Napperton Drive, Adelaide Metcalfe.

Police located a suspect in the area and brief struggle ensued during the arrest. The male was taken into police custody without further incident. The Middlesex OPP and the Elgin Middlesex Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), have arrested and charged 26-year-old Michael TRETHEWEY with the following offences, contrary to the Criminal Code (CC);

Fail to comply with probation order
Resist peace officer
Possession of property obtained by crime - under $5000
