Drunk Driver Arrested - MATTHEWS

(SOUTH BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) - On June 23, 2019 at 5:44 a.m. Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) observed a (black) Sport Utility Vehicle travelling on Euphrasia Holland Townline, Grey Highlands with speeds erratic and swerving on the roadway. The vehicle was stopped and the officer observed the female driver to be impaired while operating the motor vehicle. The driver was arrested and transported to Grey Bruce OPP detachment in Chatsworth.

33 year old, Danielle MATTHEWS of Shelburne has been charged with the following offences:

Operation of motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol, section 320.14(1)(a) Criminal Code of Canada (CC)
Operation of motor vehicle while impaired - blood alcohol concentration over 80, section 320.14(1)(b) CC

The accused has been released on a Promise to Appear in Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on July 18, 2019.
