(TOWNSHIP OF PUSLINCH, ON) - On Monday June 17, 2019, at approximately 4:25 p.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report from a concerned motorist who was following a possible impaired driver on Wellington Road 34 in Puslinch Township. The witness described the suspect vehicle as a red pick-up truck that was being operated erratically, struck a curb and nearly collided with a tree.
Police located the vehicle after it pulled into a private driveway and while speaking with the driver, determined that their ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol. They were placed under arrest and transported to a local OPP Operation Centre for further testing.
