Fatal Collision Update - Deceased Identified

(TOWN OF ERIN, ON) - On Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at approximately 7:40 p.m. the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with Guelph Wellington Paramedics Services, Ornge Air Ambulance and Town of Erin Fire and Emergency Services responded to a fatal collision involving a pick-up truck and a transport truck on the Main Street in the Town of Erin.

The driver and lone occupant of the pick-up truck, Brian WILCOX, 58-years-old of Burlington was pronounced dead at the scene. The transport truck was unattended at the time of the collision.

The investigation into the cause of the collision is still ongoing at this time and the roadway has since re-opened.
