Cattle Truck Collision Closed Road

(WELLINGTON NORTH TOWNSHIP, ON) - On Thursday, June 27, 2019 at approximately 7:10 p.m. the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with Guelph Wellington Paramedics Services and Wellington North Fire Services responded to a single vehicle rollover involving a loaded cattle truck on Wellington Road 16 just south of 89.

The driver and lone occupant of the truck was not injured.

Hydro One is on scene to repair downed wires as a result of the collision as well as a veterinarian to tend to the injured animals.

The investigation into the collision is still ongoing at this time and Wellington Road 16 remains closed between Highway 89 and the 12th Line of Wellington North Township for repairs and clean-up.
