Collision Update - Driver Succumbs To Injuries

(GUELPH/ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) - On June 24, 2019 at approximately 9:50 a.m. the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with Guelph/Eramosa Fire Department and Guelph Wellington Paramedic Services responded to a serious motor vehicle collision on Wellington Road 29 just south of Wellington Road 124.

Investigation revealed that a 2020 tractor trailer was travelling southbound when a northbound 2008 sport utility vehicle (SUV) lost control and collided head-on with the tractor trailer. The driver of the SUV was transported to a local hospital in stable condition and the driver of the transport truck was uninjured.

On July 9, 2019, Barbara MANNING, 59-years-old of Guelph/Eramosa Township died as a result of her injuries sustained in the collision.
