25 Year Old From Harriston Has Vehicle Impounded

(TOWNSHIP OF CENTRE WELLINGTON, ON) - On July 25, 2019 at approximately 10:00 p.m., a Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer was monitoring traffic and conducting radar on Wellington Road 7 near the Fourth Line in the Township of Centre Wellington The officer observed a black motor vehicle travelling southbound at a speed that appeared to be well above the posted 80 km/h speed limit. The vehicle was locked on radar in excess of 130 km/h. The driver was also in possession of multiple driver's licenses.



Travis ROBITAILLE, 25-years-old of Harriston has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle and Possess More than One Licence contrary to the Highway Traffic Act and is scheduled to appear in Guelph Provincial Court on October 2, 2019. The driver's licence and vehicle were seized for a period of seven days as per statute.
