31 Year Old Speeder Arrested For Drunk Driving

(PERTH EAST, ON) - On August 4, 2019 at approximately 2:00 a.m., a member of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Perth County detachment observed a motor vehicle travelling on Line 34, east of Stratford. The vehicle was determined to be travelling at a rate of speed that exceeded the posted speed limit and was stopped by police.
While speaking with the male driver, the officer determined that the driver's ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired. The male was arrested and transported to the Sebringville OPP detachment for further testing.
Adam McMURRAN, 31-years-old, of Cambridge was arrested and charged with;
Operation while impaired - alcohol
Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
HTA 128 Speeding 1 - 49 Km/h over posted limit
He is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Stratford on August 19, 2019 to answer the charges.
