Two Sent To Hospital Following Head On Collision Involving School Bus

(TOWN OF ERIN, ON) - On August 15, 2019 at approximately 5:30 p.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a vehicle collision on Wellington Road 124 near Sixth Line west of the Village of Erin. It was reported that a silver sedan and a school bus collided head on.
Town of Erin Fire & Emergency Services and Guelph-Wellington Paramedic Services attended. A male in the sedan was transported to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries. A female in the sedan was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The lone female occupant of the school bus, was treated for minor injuries at the scene.
The cause of the collision is currently being investigated by OPP Technical Collision Investigators (TCI) and the roadway is expected to remain closed into the night.
