Serious Injuries After Stepping Of Moving Golf Cart

(Huron-Kinloss Township, ON) - On August 19, 2019, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) South Bruce members responded to a report of a person who sustained serious injuries after falling from the back of a moving golf cart on Victoria Road in Point Clarke.

The victim had been sitting on the back of the golf cart, when he stood up and stepped off the cart while it was still in motion, causing him to fall and strike his head. The victim sustained life-threatening injuries as a result.

The victim was transported to hospital in Kincardine for initial treatment and then transferred to London for further medical intervention.
