Speeder Caught On Amberley Road

(ASHFIELD-COLBORNE-WAWANOSH, ON) - A 41-year-old from Cambridge failed to keep it to the speed limit and now he has a court date to show for it.

On Monday, September 2, 2019 at approximately 12:39 p.m. a Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer was patrolling on Amberley Road at St. Helen's Line when he observed a sports car travelling westbound at a high rate of speed. The investigating officer activated his RADAR device and measured the speed of the vehicle. A reading in excess of 130 km/h was observed by the investigating officer.

A traffic stop ensued and the driver was subsequently charged. Andrew KELLY, 41 years of age, from Cambridge has been charged with Racing. He will have to attend Provincial Offences Act Court in Goderich on October 1, 2019 to answer to the Racing charge.
