Staff And Council Demand Graffiti Stay On Howson Dam In “Skank Shaming” Incident
Source: Area OPPDate: Mon Sep 9 02:55:30 MST 2019
If you tell anyone you will only make things worse for yourself, has never been more true in North Huron
A local Activist has been attempting to get offensive graffiti removed from Howson Dam with zero success. Hours after filling out North Huron’s complaint form requiring the complainants name, address, email, and phone number, someone showed up at his property taking photos. Oppression and intimidation are the only things staff seem to be capable of as a terrified council refuses to confront them.
All that is required to remove the graffiti is to call the insurance company and/or the graffiti removal company. It would take staff less than a minute to make the call(s) but they refuse out of spite.
Council has been absolutely powerless/useless as Dwayne Evans the current CAO of North Huron is flat out refusing to do his job despite a new by-law requiring graffiti removal.
