(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) - On September 26, 2019 at approximately 6:45 a.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Middlesex London Emergency Medical Services and Middlesex Centre Fire Department responded to a two vehicle collision involving a passenger vehicle and commercial motor vehicle on Narin Road at Ilderton Road, in the Municipality of Middlesex Centre.

The driver of the passenger vehicle sustained serious injuries, was transported to hospital and has since died. The driver of the commercial motor vehicle sustained minor injuries and was transported to hospital. The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending next-of-kin notification.

The OPP West Region Technical Collision Investigators (TCI) are on scene to investigate the collision.

Narin Road from Evan Drive to Hedley Drive and Ilderton Road from Bear Creek Road to Coldstream Road, will be closed for the next several hours.

An update will be provided when more details become available.
