Two Pedestrians Struck and Killed

(New Tecumseth, ON) - At approximately 5:45 p.m. on November 9, 2019, the Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a call for service involving two pedestrians being struck by an SUV.
Both parties have succumbed to their injuries and died. The investigation is ongoing and Technical Traffic Collision Investigators have been assigned. No charges have been laid at this time. Names are being withheld until next of kin have been notified.
