Stolen Credit Card Used - HOTCHKISS & RAWN

(TOWNSHIP OF WELLINGTON NORTH, ON) - The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report from a victim that had his wallet stolen from his vehicle while it was parked in a municipal parking lot in Mount Forest on March 5, 2020.
The victim was contacted the following day by his credit card/debit card provider regarding suspicious activity on his credit cards and that they were going to be cancelled. The victim was provided with a list of businesses, transaction amounts and times that the stolen credit cards had been used.
Police attended the involved businesses and obtained the video footage of the suspects committing the crimes.
The suspects were known to police and as a result, Ashley Nicole HOTCHKISS, 28-years-old of Wellington North Township and Kellie Ruby Marie RAWN, 24-years-old of Wellington North Township have been charged with Possession of Property Obtained by a Crime Under $5000 and Use of Credit Card (6 Counts each) contrary to the Criminal Code. They are scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice - Guelph on May 19, 2020 and May 22, 2020 to answer to the charges.
