(CENTRAL HURON, ON) - Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has laid several charges in connection with an event that took place at a Clinton car wash last weekend.
At around 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, March 29, 2020 a Huron OPP officer responded to a car wash located on Victoria Street in Clinton to investigate a possible stolen pickup that was parked inside one of the car wash bays. Upon arrival officers located two males with the vehicle. One male was outside the vehicle washing it while the other was in the driver's seat. The suspect outside the vehicle took off on foot running while the driver of the pickup truck accelerated out of the bay and rammed the cruiser causing extensive damage to the cruiser.
