Josephine Street Collision Ends With Assault Charge

(NORTH HURON, ON) - Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has laid criminal charges against a North Huron resident following a domestic assault investigation that took place over the weekend.
Just before 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2020 Huron OPP officers responded to an automobile crash located on Josephine Street in Wingham. The subsequent investigation revealed a domestic assault occurred, as well, it also revealed the accused was operating his vehicle in a dangerous manner.
A 36-year-old North Huron resident has been charged with Assault & Dangerous Operation. The accused has since been released from custody with a court date scheduled for later this summer.
