James NICHOLSON Charged After Punching Out Teeth

(CHATSWORTH, ON) - On June 24, 2020 at 7:59 p.m. officers from the Grey Bruce Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a victim that was located on Highway 6 & 10, walking near the OPP Detachment in the Township of Chatsworth, ON.
An argument had occurred between two people and then the accused struck the victim in the face several times, knocking out their teeth and causing a bloody nose.
The victim was transported by ambulance to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Grey Bruce OPP have charged James NICHOLSON, 48 years-of-age, from Chatsworth, ON with Assault causing bodily harm, section 267(b) Criminal Code of Canada (CC) and Assault, section 266 CC, from another previous incident involving these parties.
The accused was held for a bail hearing in Ontario Court of Justice on June 25, 2020.
