23 Year Old Succumbs To Injuries Following Collision

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) - On August 12, 2020, at approximately 9:52 p.m., members of Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Middlesex County responded to a report of a vehicle in the ditch on Gainsborough Road, between Franks Lane and Vanneck Road.

Upon arrival, police located a male in the vehicle with life-threatening injuries. The victim was extricated from the vehicle, but succumbed to his injuries. The coroner pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

The deceased is identified as Cole BUDD, 23-years-old, of London, Ontario. The victim was transported to a London hospital for a post-mortem examination.

Gainsborough Road was reopened to traffic at approximately 2:30 this morning, after OPP Technical Collision Investigators (TCI) completed their investigation at the scene.
