Fatal Collision Update - Deceased IdentifiedSource: Area OPP

(TOWN OF ERIN, ON) - On September 24, 2020, at approximately 6:30 a.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a vehicle collision at the intersection of Trafalgar Road North (Wellington Road 24) and Sideroad 10 in the Town of Erin. It was reported that a boom lift and a passenger vehicle had collided.
Emergency Service responded. The driver of the passenger vehicle, was pronounced dead at scene. The operator of the boom did not require medical care.
The deceased has been identified as Lloyd COCKBURN, 59-years-old of Georgetown.
