(HOWICK, ON) - Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Howick Township resident with Impaired Operation and Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) 80 Plus following an All-Terrain Vehicle crash that happened this August.
On August 13, 2020 at approximately 8:38 p.m. Huron County OPP and Huron County Paramedic Services responded to an ATV rollover collision located on Church Street in Wroxeter.
The driver of the ATV was transported from the scene to a nearby hospital and was later released with non-life threatening injuries. The subsequent collision investigation revealed the driver had been drinking alcohol prior to the collision and was impaired. The results of a blood analysis also revealed the driver had a Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) above the legal limit at the time of the crash.
Ryan SANDERSON, 37 years of age from Howick has been charged with Operation While Impaired & Operation While Impaired - Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 Plus). He has a court date scheduled for November 9, 2020 at the Ontario Court of Justice - Goderich.
