Shooting In Parking Lot - 17 Year Old Repeat Offender Arrested

(NORTH PERTH, ON) - One person has been charged following an altercation that resulted in one person being shot with an air pistol BB gun.

On October 10, 2020, just after 10:30 p.m., Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called a residence on Davidson Avenue North, in the Municipality of North Perth after it was reported that someone had been shot with a pellet gun in the parking lot.

One person, a 24-year-old Stratford resident, received minor injuries.

As a result, a 17-year-old resident of North Perth has been charged with:

Possession of Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
Assault with a Weapon
Fail to Comply with Sentence


The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer to the charges.
