Suspended Driver Caught Again - GAMMIE

(TOWNSHIP OF GUELPH-ERAMOSA, ON) - On October 20, 2020 at approximately 9:30 a.m. a Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer stopped a pick-up truck for a Highway Traffic Act violation on Indian Trail north of Eden Mills.

It was reported that the driver had two different licence plates attached to the truck.

Police also discovered that the driver was prohibited from driving under the Criminal Code of Canada and had their licence suspended under the Highway Traffic Act.

As a result of the investigation, Kyle Collin GAMMIE, 35-years-old of Guelph, faces the following charges:
Operation While Prohibited Under the Criminal Code
Drive while Under Suspension
Use Plate Not Authorized for Vehicle (2 counts)
Operating a Vehicle Without Insurance


The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice - Guelph on November 24, 2020. Their vehicle was seized for a period of 45 days as per statute.
