Suspended Driver Caught Again

(SOUTH BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) - On November 5, 2020 at 8:47 a.m., Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) that had no licence plates on Gould Street in Wiarton, in the Town of South Bruce Peninsula, ON.

The operator was a suspended driver and there were no licence plates or insurance on this ATV.

As a result of this investigation, Grey Bruce OPP have charged a 40 year old male from South Bruce Peninsula with the following offences:

Driving while under suspension, section 53(1) Highway Traffic Act (HTA)
No number plate showing permit number, Ontario Regulation 316(16)(1) HTA
Motor vehicle not properly insured, Ontario Regulation 316(17) HTA

The accused received a Provincial Summons and the involved ATV was towed from the scene.
