Suspended Driver Caught Again - JONKER

(SOUTHGATE, ON) - On November 7, 2020 at 12:44 p.m., Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a (brown) pick-up truck on Victoria Street West, in Dundalk, Township of Southgate.

The driver provided a false name to officers and further investigation revealed that the driver was a suspended driver.

As a result of this investigation, Grey Bruce OPP have charged Jessica JONKER, 32 years-of-age, from Southgate, ON with the following offences:

Obstruct a Peace Officer, section 129(a) Criminal Code of Canada
Driving while under suspension, section 53(1) Highway Traffic Act
Fail to have insurance card, section 3(1) Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act


The accused was released on an Appearance Notice and is required to appear in Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on January 28, 2021.
