(KILLALOE, ON) - Members of the Killaloe OPP Detachment continue to investigate the incident involving a 20 year old woman from Etobicoke, who was airlifted to hospital for a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

Shortly after 2:00 p.m., on Friday October 2, 2020, members of the Killaloe OPP detachment responded to a 911 call at a residence on Silas Lane, in the Township of Madawaska Valley. Investigation has revealed the victim received the gunshot wound while walking off trail in the area of John Watson Road and Silas Lane.

Police information suggests that a vehicle seen in the area was an older model dark green GMC or Chevrolet pickup truck. The driver has been described as a white male, 40-60 years of age with light brown hair and a beard. The passenger has been described as a white male 30-40 years of age. The OPP would like to speak to these individuals.
