On November 24, 2020, at approximately 8:10 p.m., Waterloo Regional Police responded to a report of a robbery in the area of Chalmers Street South and Dudhope Avenue in Cambridge. The female victim was exiting her vehicle when she was approached by two male suspects who were wearing balaclavas. One of the males pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded that she hand over her keys and purse. Both men then entered the victim’s vehicle and fled the area. The victim’s vehicle, a 2020 blue Toyota Corolla, was last seen travelling north on Chalmers Street South towards Ballantyne Avenue. There were no reported physical injuries as a result of the incident. The investigation is ongoing. Waterloo Regional Police are appealing to any residents in the area who may have home video surveillance or dash-cam video to contact police.
