77 Year Old From Arrested For Drunk Driving

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) An individual was charged following an investigation into an incident of impaired driving.
At approximately 7:26 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, an officer from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment conducted a traffic stop and investigation involving a motor vehicle on Highway 3 in Windham, Norfolk County.
After assessing the drivers level of sobriety at the roadside, the driver was taken into custody without incident.
Charged with the following alleged offence is 77-year-old Robert RIVERS of Kitchener, Ontario:
Operation while impaired alcohol and drugs.
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice located in Simcoe on Tuesday, April 9, 2024.
