Another Student Sexual Assaulted By School Bus Driver

(Ottawa) The Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault and Child Abuse (SACA) Unit has charged a man following an investigation into sexual offences that occurred in the Centretown area involving a girl, under 16 years of age.

On March 1st, the accused who was employed as a student transport driver for a Centretown area high school dropped off the other students and then began to transport the victim to their residence. During the drive, he stopped the van and forced the student to perform a sexual act. The student was then dropped off at home.

Today, Jean-Pierre MUTABAZI, 56 years old, of Ottawa was charged with Sexual assault, Sexual interference and Invitation to sexual touching.

He is scheduled to appear in court today.
