(SIOUX LOOKOUT, ON) The Sioux Lookout Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has laid impaired by drug charges following a traffic complaint.

On May 8, 2024, at approximately 2:45 p.m., members of the Sioux Lookout OPP Detachment responded to a traffic complaint at a business on Alcona Drive in the Municipality of Sioux Lookout. Officers attended the location and located the vehicle.

Through investigation, it was determined that the driver of the motor vehicle had been impaired. The driver was subsequently placed under arrest and transported to the Sioux Lookout OPP Detachment for further testing.

As a result, Camilla BOTTLE, 38-years-old, of Sioux Lookout, has been arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with Operation While Impaired Blood Drug Concentration.

The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Sioux Lookout at a later date.
