Christopher Dayfoot Arrested Again � Break & Enter

On Monday March 25, 2024, the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS), responded to two separate break and enter occurrences in the area of Main Street North and Kennedy Street, Georgetown. Both entries occurred over the preceding weekend while the homeowners were away. The suspect forced entry to both residences taking items of value, debit and credit cards.

As a result of the investigation on March 27, 2024, Christopher Dayfoot (38), of Georgetown, has been charged with the following:

Break and Enter Commit an Indictable Offence (2 Counts)
Fraudulent use of Credit Cards (2 Counts)
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5000
Breach of a Release Order
At the time of the offences Dayfoot was on two different forms of release stemming from previous criminal charges.

The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
