$7,000 Drug Bust � GUILER

(BANCROFT, ON) � Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) East Region Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), assisted by the OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) were involved in a drug investigation which led to the arrest of one individual.

On March 26, 2024, Officers seized approximately $7000 worth of Fentanyl and Cocaine, a cellular device, drug paraphernalia and $1855 in Canadian Currency.

Richard GUILER, 49 years old of Hastings Highlands, Ontario, has been charged with:

� Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking Fentanyl

� Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking Cocaine and

� Possession property obtained by Crime Under $5000

GUILER was held pending a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on March 27, 2024.
